The 30 year long war against PKK that is going on in TR has cost the lives of tens of thousands of people. Hundreds of thousands of people had to migrate. The war, has affected millions of people directly or indirectly. As in every war, the most harm came to children and women. During this time period, peace efforts and campaigns have always been carried on. The Peace Mothers Initiative, founded for this purpose in 1998, is an association of mothers who have lost their sons and daughters in the war. The documentary speak of the these mothers’ daily lives, and their struggle to bring peace and reunite with their children despite having experienced the great destruction and suffering of the war.
