Synopsis
The filmmaker’s 200 year old ancestral house in a remote village called Miyar in South IN is dismantled, giving an opportunity for him to undertake a journey into the past – a past that is not just his or that of his extended family, but that which is authored by successive generations of rural INns facing lifestyles changes, as the country transits into the present. As plans are on for the house to get reconstructed elsewhere in an open air museum, out of its original context - the fossilization seems to be complete.
