Synopsis
Through the stories of two men, "Trong hay ngoai tay em" reveals the devastating consequences of drug abuse upon families and communities in a remote mountainous border province in North-West Vietnam. Both men are living with HIV and both are struggling to come to terms with their heroin addiction. One wants life and his determined to secure future happiness whilst the other is preparing for the time when he will be reunited with his departed ancestors. Through their contrasting journeys a story of courage emerges... but is the love of others enough to rescue them from their addiction?
