Synopsis
“Here on earth” tells the ups and downs of the native Nahuas migrants from the Huasteca, a vast tropical zone of northeast MX, who are now living in the country’s second largest city Guadalajara, and the social, cultural and economic phenomenon this entails in Santa Cruz, their little home community. A teenager drops out of school in order to work in Guadalajara, an elder man who crosses the country to sell traditional food, and a young mother who is murdered in the city are some plot lines that are part of this story.
