Synopsis
Documentary Film „Every cell of my body“ This film has been realised together with imprisoned young women from the youth custody centre in Berlin-Lichtenberg (JVA Lichtenberg). Synopsis “Well, I would tell the people that there are not only bad people in here. Every person has a good part as well. They can not judge us just because we committed a criminal act. It is always linked to your past, childhood. But at least with some people.” Bente, Janine, Jenni, Justyna, Melissa & Julia talk about life, failure. About elation and friends. Plans and goals. This documentary portrays six young women, who became delinquent and were convicted for it. They come from Berlin and Brandenburg and came to prison in Berlin-Lichtenberg. The film gave them an opportunity to show and talk about themselves. Within seven months we wrote together a concept, scrn-play, filmed and edited. The women created this together with a filmmaker and a media educator.
