Andrés Caicedo, the mythic COn writer, decides to take his life on March 4, 1977, at the age of twenty five, the very same day he receives a copy of his first published novel. Unfortunate night investigates the life and work of this author and the close relationship that links them. An unfinished portrait is woven through a variety of levels of discourse (interviews, animation, found footage, voice over); an intimate and particular view on Andrés Caicedo, perhaps one of the most accurate symbols of the dystopia involved in young artistic avant-garde groups.
