Synopsis
Daniela Ott remains in a state called either "apallic syndrome", "persistent vegetative state" or "low consciousness state", depending on the perspective of the speaker. The film accompanies the protagonist through her day focussing on the close-up: the face, in which we look as it looks back, the face, whose glance we have to bear and whose frightening strangeness will not be regulated by any grammar: FACE AND RESPONSE.
