In Dawson City, the town where nobody locks the front door, they meet miners, trappers, prospectors and all-year-residents, accompanied by the voice off reading the Boldrini diary and following the old techniques of gold digging and clean-up. Past and present intersect, interact, and everybody seems to follow the Klondikes calling, looking for gold and finding freedom and respect. There is a certain pride in trusting other people and people in the Yukon are free from being afraid of others around.
