The Winding Path of Chance is a documentary road movie in South America which studies the question of 'Chance'. On their journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean - a route left completely to chance - a couple meet fifteen characters who are dealing with the relationship between certainty and the unpredictability of chance, the antagonism between stability and movement, whilst they themselves face the problem of capturing this ambiguous phenomenon at the same time as setting a frame for the whole experience.
