Synopsis
“One” goes further “Zero”, enquiring into the mysteries of Al Qaida. How it operates, which are its aims, who runs it, who supports it financially. A journey throughout 20 years of history, 34 countries in 5 continents, from the Sahara desert to the Borneo jungle, from the American skyscrapers to the Himalayan peaks, from the Soviets’ withdrawal from Afghanistan to the 9/11, to the attacks in Bali, Madrid, London. A journey with 140 protagonists, among which secret service agents, soldiers, mercenaries, mujaheddin and ex-terrorists. Starting from the end of the Cold War, “One” explains how Yugoslavian and Caucasus wars, as well as those of Central Asia and Africa have just one single common denominator: the control of energetic resources and the presence of Al Qaeda’s terrorism or of mujaheddin fighting in the name of Islam. “One” is a feature film that will capture spectators with spectacular images in high definition, animations, cartoons and a fast-paced montage.
