Synopsis
Vila Nova de Foz Côa, a remote town in northern Portugal, became international news in 1992 because of a study on the environmental impact of a giant dam project that revealed the existence of thousands of prehistoric engravings in open air, some of them dating back 30.000 years. A modern Museum is being built to celebrate this prehistoric art.
