Synopsis
Kyrkogårdsö, a lonely Island in the middle of the Baltic Sea in the Åland archipelagos. An Island of 8 habitants which is in the possession of the Nordberg Family for 16 generations. During the cold winter, the nature is transforming, the Sea begin to freeze. Ida Nordberg, 5 years old prepare herself like every day for going to the School, and like her brother and cousins, she is going to the neighbour Island with an Icebreaker. An every day trip, a road of the life, a line that’s crossing an impressionist Landscape. A movie, which is questioning the relativity of time, the relation from a child to a territory, to the immensity and the power who’s all around.
