Synopsis
There were youngsters then ran on a sport ground. The fact is that these youngsters suffered from various forms of autism or mental retardation, and deciding to make them run together wasn't the easiest thing in the world. It’s step after step that these youngsters are getting ready for the competitions “although it’s not only about running” says Massimo one of the guides who accompanies the group, it’s also about showing themselves in public together. “Step after step” narrates the fears and the hopes of a group of people who are struggling to improve, even just a little, their lives. The story stets off on the sport ground where it all began and finishes at Siracusa's most important competition, where there aren't any parents or everyday routine so crucial to an autistic boy, where everything is new, where you have to take the plane and fly, where you can fall in love, where in the end there is always a finishing line that step after step, sooner or later, you'll reach.
