Synopsis
PLANETARIO tells the life’s stories of five families from different regions of the world. All these families have something in common: parents filmed their children obsessively from the day they were born. This footage in which parents narrate in words and images the life of their children is the direct material we have chosen to explore those small and private universes where children are grown, model, shaped and defined by these adults. Regardless cultural characteristics, living locations, religious beliefs and social condition, children are the “sun” around parents revolve, and they are, as well, the object of their defining view. If over each individual construction the world that we live in is being constructed what kind of world are the families constructing?
