Synopsis
Director’s second diary, “In the window” unfolds season over season, from winter 2005/06, till winter 2007. The personal young woman’s story is evoked by contemplative images from day-to-day life. The character exists through her eyes, first when she looks upon her window the birds, the city, the snow, the night, the summer sea, then her family and the inhabitants of Bogota, her hometown, during a journey in her country to visit her ill grand-mother. It is also an observation of time passing by and the cycles of life ; growth, wounds, healing, aging, death and birth. At the same time, current news arrive, enter her personal story and start a dialog with it, interrogating the relations between the private story and universal history.
