Pasolini's film, directed for the television series "Io.... e" is an essay about the representation of the public and historical space of the city. It's a reflection on the old Italian city of Orso and the importance of its preservation. Pasolini: "When I say that I chose as a theme the form of a city, the structure of a city, its profile, this is what I really mean: I want to stand up for something that is not sanctioned, which isn't codified, that nobody defends: which results from the people of a whole history, the entire history of the people of a city."
