Ernesto Che Guevara, the Bolivian Diary
Director Richard Dindo
Countries Switzerland, France
Duration 112 min
Synopsis
Taking as its starting point Che Guevara’s diary in his campaign in
Bolivia (1966-1967), Dindo follows the footsteps of the revolutionary,
exploring the places where he travelled, fought and died. Between
descriptions of silent desert landscapes and moving and sometimes
bitter testimonies in the diary, Dindo brings us archives about Che recent
interviews with his companions or villagers in Bolivia. True testimony
of Che Guevara’s tenacity, the film debunks the idea of failure of
a man who became a legend for a generation.
