Synopsis
The journey begins. Left behind is an accumulation of sounds and images, where things are losing their names. A train takes us far away. To Mongolia. On the way, unknown faces, new melodies, gestures that get mixed in with the landscape. To find oneself in a strange land, to move around with it. With each step, our destiny fades away and pushes us to carry on, revealing meaning that has always been there, that emerges in simple existence: a land that by stripping itself bare, fills itself up and inhabits us. And from here, perhaps, to recover that place from which to look back.
