From the chill of the Cold War to Bola de Nieve’s masterful piano solos; from the the discovery of the Cambodian Killing Fields to Portugal’s Carnation Revolution… The anonymous but supremely talented cameramen of the ICAIC witnessed it all. The documentary gently bring new life to the intermingled genres, passions and images by director Santiago Álvarez and other Cuban filmmakers, to give them the means to soar once again.
