The documentary "Photomaton – Portraits of João dos Santos", comprises documentation and testimonies related to the thinking and activity of Dos Santos, Portuguese physician child psychiatrist (1913- 1987). Following the nature of the known radio programmes authored by João Sousa with João Monteiro dos Santos, the film dismantles key ideas about child development and their place in society, an abiding interest in the life of João dos Santos.
