Synopsis
In April 2008, José Vieira discovered a slum along the highway in Massy-Palaiseau near Paris. He remembered with nostalgia his chilhood in a nearby slum, and soon wanted to meet the gypsys who were living there, to see how despised and rejected they are by the rest of society, and how at the same time they are just immigrants like many others. He decided to film them little by little, to follow them in their everyday life in the slum and in their struggles, when deported from the place they'd built for themselves, when they return to Romania, for some of them for good.
