Synopsis
The memory of the atomic bomb and of its terrible consequences constitutes the identity of Hiroshima city. It was rebuilt around its Peace Memorial Park, but the grass has grown back, and time has erased the last signs of atomic desolation. Alongside the river, the trees of Shukkeien garden, where the writer Tamiki Hara ran for his life on the morning of August 6, 1945, seem to be eternally standing. I have filmed some fragments of the memories which have laid down on the city.
