Why do the neighbors fight? Why is there hatred and suspicion between the ethnic groups? In this documentary film we talked to the inhabitants of a Greek and a Turkish town about the "Other" and asked how they see the other side. We see that ill feelings and prejudices still exist in both societies. But why? Why is hate still produced in public life? In "The Other Town", after visiting the two towns throughout a year and talking to the inhabitants, we came to understand that it is as if the bad relations between the nations exist not so much due to the turbulent past but due to nationalistic understanding and education.
