This documentary shows how children from a Ladin minority in Northern Italy create their own winter fairytale. By the end of a two week workshop guided by a professional storyteller the children will have created a tale about war, witches, dwarfs, justice and peace. Meanwhile we observe a process in which the children become the greatest challenge of all. Watching them and seeing us? This film walks on a thin line between fantasy and reality.
