The Gigli Feast is a time of rational contradictions and visual contrast. Seen from a modern prospective, it could appear as an expression of insanity and nonsense, but still today thousands of people, living normal lives, gather ‘under the Giglio’. Taking part in a celebration that move the collective unconscious, and strengthen the identity of those participating.
Among them the narrators we will be hearing from: a farmer, a marketing manager, a magistrate, a businessman and a workman. Even though with different backgrounds they are united by the emotional sharing of one of the most powerful, spectacular and controversial events that takes place in the whole Mediterranean area.
