Synopsis
My father was sent to the Falklands War as a military doctor. When he returned, he told that he had saved a pilot, the only English prisoner taken by Argentina. Twenty seven years later, he revealed that he had disobeyed his general, who had ordered him to torture the prisoner to obtain information about the British positions. Several questions came to me. Had the pilot been tortured while he was held captive? Might my father have received orders to torture people before the war, during the Argentine military dictatorship? What had been going on inside the barracks of the city where we lived? That was when I realized that I had to find that British pilot, because he could be the starting point for finding some answers.
