Synopsis
200 years after Chopin's birth Marita Albán Juárez, half Polish, half Peruvian, explores the composer's legacy in his native Poland and abroad. Marita is a young Chopin – expert and latin jazz vocalist. In a personal quest she discovers the music that inspired Chopin is still an inspiration to many today.
People's views of Chopin are the heart of this film. Marita meets in Warsaw Leszek Mozdzer, Kevin Kenner and Jerome Caron in Paris, creators of the computer game and piano students in Japan.
This is the first documentary dedicated to contemporary perception of Chopin and his music.
