A trail at the heart of the Andes, at more than 3,000 meters high: Quapac Nan, the Main Road, runs through the ancient Inca Empire. A network of 13,000 km of trails across through Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, more than the remains of the mythical Inca civilization, the Quapac Nan is a symbol of a common identity that nourishes the dreams of inhabitants of Andean countries today: that of the revival of this unique cultural inheritance following several centuries of domination.
