Varanasi is one of the most ancient and sacred cities in the world. A place where a certain primitive echo still survives. Place of residence of Shiva, the creator and destructor, God of senses that drive to definite liberty, in Varanasi lies hidden another city in the mist, smoke, sand… Kashi, City of Light. For one whole year –in a tireless cycle– days and nights run with their internal rhythms causing drastic changes in the appearance of this indian microcosm. This part of the history happened with our camera as a witness.
