Synopsis
The myth of Orestes, the mother-killer hounded by the Erinyes, was dramatically developed by Greek tragedians, who underscored the need for divine intervention to restore equilibrium to men who are both the victims and perpetrators of their own actions. In what was a part of Magna Graecia, two filmmakers reveal the tragedy of Calabria, a beautiful and desolate place, a stage for broken hopes and dreams, for a people helpless against fate.
