Synopsis
A TRAIN TO PAMPA BLANCA is the story of a very unusual train journey, the story of a hospital train. Just three carriages, which for the past 25 years have been travelling across the north of Argentina providing medical assistance in areas steeped in poverty and which are lacking in any kind of aid. But it is also an approach to, and vision of, one of the hardest to understand of Latin American realities. Despite Argentina being a major food exporter boasting some of the
most fertile land on the continent, millions of its inhabitants suffer from malnutrition, tuberculosis, Chagas disease and an endless list of illnesses which condemns them even before they are born.
