Duration 52 min
Synopsis
The film was carried out in the slum “Grota” in “Alemão Complex”, known as one of the most dangerous and violent slum of the city of Rio de Janeiro. It does not have the urban violence, social apartheid or racism as its main focus. The slab, a synonym for leisure, work and honor for the resident of the slum, is the main character in this documentary. As an alternative to the lack of space for leisure in this community, it serves as the stage for many events, believes and work and it brings to the shacks a little more comfort and safety. And in the event of its construction one can experience the example of solidarity and cooperation still alive in the slums of Rio de Janeiro.
