Carmen (84) and Emeterio (97) are an elderly couple living out their last years in their home in Acapulco, the house they built with their own hands. Time seems to stand still for them; no day is more or less special than the one before. All they can do is wait. Carmen and Eme survive together and, as every New Year’s eve, they expect their family’s visit.
