For the fishermen from Lira, on the "Coast of Death", the "Prestige" supossed an oportunity of changing their relationship with a sea affected by the contamination and the indiscriminated fishing. The creation of the first Marine Reserve of Fishing Interest "Os Miñarzos", by fishing community request, converted them into an international example of innovation. The men and women from Lira, the main characters of this documentary, show the relevance of a transcendental process not only for the fishing comunities in the world, but also for a part of the society who is awared about the speed exploitation of the oceans and the extinction of species because of the industrial fishing.
