Synopsis
“Lety” is a journey made by a couple of Roma singers, brother and sister, both disabled, from their village in Eastern Slovakia to the village of Lety in the Czech Republic. Where now, and for the past thirty years, stands an industrial pig farm, during the last world war there was a Nazi concentration camp where hundreds of Roma were interned and killed. Ferko and Martinka, the Dudovci, sing and talk about their personal histories and feelings until they reach the place where each year a small crowd gathers to commemorate the victims of the camp.
