Synopsis
Rodi struggles through photography and documentary films to tell about his people, to preserve and keep lively his ancestral culture.
Deniz struggles to erase the cultural inner strangleholds that wall in women. She is back in her family after six years spent in Iraq in the PKK camp, the independents Kurd party
Rodi and Deniz, swept up by the turmoil of the non-written history of the Kurd people, have to deal with their complex past.
They are both, in a different way, searching for a peculiar and contemporary identity.
Although they use different paths, they are facing the same questions: What is being Kurd? How can you individually built oneself with two cultural backgrounds? How is it possible to exist while feeling like a foreign body in a society we live in?
