This documentary shows some aspects related to the decline of improvised chanted poetry in the poet's house, a Campina Grande based cultural center. The "House" is a meeting point for members of the Northeastern Association of poets and improvising poets, where used to take place many National Festivals of "Repente" (improvised poetry). This medium lenght documentary is mainly about the way local poets feel the changes that are occurring in this ancient popular art in the land where it has been re-invented, becoming a way of life and a peculiar aspect of Brazilian folklore.
