Synopsis
Kanaka Durga rejected the traditional role of an Indian woman, instead choosing to punch her way out of poverty by becoming the first female boxer in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Fame, fortune and gold medals have now led Kanaka to encourage other young Indian women to step into the boxing ring. This film follows Kanaka as she trains the new contenders who know that behind every punch, jab and weave lies the promise of a better future.
