Synopsis
A film about the triumph of will. Evridiki, after 7 years of heroin addiction, doesn’t waste her life and manages to fathom her dysfunctional family. The film is based on the theatrical play “The Case of Evridiki” and shoes the story of a girl who was bound to the world of drugs for 13 years, she experienced the affliction in all its magnitude but eventually was treated through therapy to start all over again. The film weaves around 4 cinematic themes/axis, Evridiki’s personal statement the staging and development of the theatrical play, the “everyday reality of drugs” in contemporary Athens and the “normal upbringing of 5 girls” between the ages of 3 and 16 which directly clashes with Evridiki’s childhood years
