Synopsis
Svalbard is the northernmost inhabited place in the world. Nothing grows there, nevertheless 2,500 people of 40 different nationalities live there. This documentary sets out to understand how those people chose to live on such a remote Island, with such an extreme climate, where the sun regulates people’s lives, plunging them into darkness for four months before bringing them back the life-saving light.
