A "road movie": the director wants to take the peace torch from the young Italian artist Pippa, who in a wedding dress, attempted to hitch hike from Rome to Jerusalem, but was raped and assassinated a few kilometres to the East of Istanbul. It has become a national affair. The country, its political leaders, its bureaucrats, intellectuals, media, all express their reactions while provoking the wrath of a large part of society who reproaches them their indifference in the face of the macabre repetition of the same act on thousands of the country’s female citizens.
