Carlos Lucas walked the tightrope of memory. A good long pole was necessary to venture to cross, on his shoulders, the cable stretching either side of the abyss. Those of us who went forth were rewarded with an unexpected sight: the love for his job, his devotion for his family and a not entirely lost innocence in a world that lost it a long time ago.
