Morocco is an Arab-Muslim, Third world, North African country ruled by a king in a so-called democratic monarchy. Somewhat surprisingly, however is the emergence of an indigenous Hip Hop movement, made up of rappers, DJs, breakdancers and graffiti artists who use their native language and culture to express their worldview through the imported medium of Hip Hop.
