When a Los Angeles CEO receives news of her fathers's death, she leaves her life behind to travel across the world on an expedition to trace the roots of his family tree. With the help of her fiesty 82 year old aunt with a camara in had, she will reconstruct the stories of her Italian Jewish ancestors, from their arrival in Volterra Italy in 1392, to their escape to Israel during WWII.
