A director, obsessed by the 80's earthquake in Orpinia, is searching for a new subject for his documentary. Stefania, a teenager with an identity crisis, becomes the main actress. He can't say no to her sadness and he "plays' with her to the "Big Brother'. Following her daily travel to the neuro psychiatric center, Stefania's grey days will be colored by the camera's lights. But work will bring the director in France, to follow the Jazz Orchestra of Salerno and to report their story.
