Synopsis
On a circus high wire a dancer moves like a fairy tale figuer. In the wings another figure is waiting, ready to perform. This is performance number 260, the final performace. In ther own dark yet poetic way in this her debut film, Nana Frank Moller introduces the viewer to a circus troupe about to be disbanded after years of creative and personal togetherness. Both physical and mental tiredness are apparent. The bonds are about to be cut and the troupe is in a painfull dilemma. Two sisters in the troupe, the hire wire artists, are like Siamese twins about to be separated, like two China figures in an end game about to be lost. The film is about love's possibilities and particularly, the individuals need for love.
