“After a long silence†shows the consequences still present of the events occurred 70 years ago in Spain. Following survivors, witnesses and the missing people’s family, the film travels along blurred footsteps of that tragic past. The living vindicates their dead, some buried in ditches. But when dealing with events marginalized by history itself, this is a complicated task: absence of documents, confusing data, lack of testimonies, silence, void and fear.
