Synopsis
A tale about human beings, between the North and the South, about globalization and about fish. In the sixties, in the heart of Africa, a new animal was introduced into Lake Victoria as part of a small scientific experiment. The Nile Perch, a voracious predator, erradicated the majority of the lake's native species of fish. At the same time, it multiplied at great speed and its white fillets are currently exported all over the world. Huge, white ex-Soviet cargo aircraft land in the region every day to collect the most recently caught fish in exchange for the transportation of kalashnikovs and munition for uncountable wars taking place at the centre of the African continent. The flourishing fish and arms businesses created a merciless, globalized alliance on the banks of the world's largest tropical lake.
