From the myths of Sansom and Masada, young Israelis learn that death is preferable to domination. Currently, with a second Intifada at its height, Palestinians are constantly humiliated by the Israeli army... Close to exhaustion, these people express their anger and despair – just as the Hebrew people did with the Romans or Sansom with the Philistines. The film-maker Avi Mograbi still believes in the power of dialogue, with the Palestinians surrounded, and with the omnipresent elements of the Israeli army.
