In a series of poignant images, Yamina Benguigui reconstructs memories of immigration from North Africa and re-traces the journies taken by families whose destinies are intrinsically linked to France. 'Immigrants Memories' is constructed around three episodes and three generations: the first came to France during the prosperous post-war period; the second, reunited by the “family reunification” programme in the seventies; and the third, their children born in France and who consider themselves, above all else, French.
